Further Details:This workshop will unplug writer’s block and lay to rest the ghosts of past literary nightmares. It is designed for students writing essays and personal learning reflections, as well as practitioners wanting to write pieces for publication.
The objective of the day is discover greater freedom in writing creatively and confidently. The workshop will be tailored to meet the needs of all participants. It’s expected that the day will include inputs and discussion on Transactional Analysis theory, sharing personal experiences and processes, as well as what part script might play in written work.
This format will provide opportunities to gain insight into participants’ own processes, including self-sabotage. There will be a chance to explore different ways of expressing personal experiences and opinions. On the technical side, we will look at how to structure and produce a good piece of written work and the etiquette of academic writing.
On booking this course you will be provided with a questionnaire and asked to return it by post or e-mail at least a week prior to the workshop so that, as far as possible, the tutor can ensure the programme meets the needs of the group
