Counsellor Profile
There are times in ones' life which can be very difficult to manage for various reasons - a broken relationship, a painful bereavement, loss of a job, children leaving home, or even illness, to name but a few.
These adverse lifes' events may bring up emotions of distress, despair, hurt, loneliness, sadness, anger and many others.
It is at times like these that it might help enormously to speak to a 3rd person, or 'therapist'. He/she is removed from your situation and is impartial - yet with all the professional skills to listen and support the client in a totally confidential and trusting setting. Certain ideas and beliefs may need to be examined, supported and worked through, in order to facilitate a full resolution or recovery from these crises.
I am a mature therapist, qualified since 1998 and fully accredited with the United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapists. I work with long term as well as time limited therapy.
